A Festive Evening at Hartford’s First Ever Le Dîner en Blanc

More than 500 people enjoyed an elegant and festive evening, at a location that was kept secret until the very last moment.

Residents of Hartford, West Hartford, and many other towns in the surrounding area, dressed all in white, seated at white tables, dined al fresco Sunday night at Hartford’s Dîner en Blanc at State House Square.
From global phenomenon to highly sought-after “secret,” Le Dîner en Blanc took over Hartford’s State House Square July 28 with a refined pop-up epicurean event. For Hartford’s first official Le Dîner en Blanc, more than 500 guests attended.
In June 2018, Le Dîner en Blanc de Paris marked its 30th anniversary. A record 17,000 guests from Paris and around the world gathered at the Esplanade des Invalides to celebrate this historic moment.
Launched in 1988 in Paris by François Pasquier and a handful of friends, Le Dîner en Blanc promotes friendship, elegance, and a sense of community. Now held in over 80 cities in 30 countries around the world, Le Dîner en Blanc promises an unforgettable evening under the stars filled with beauty and magic.

Le Dîner en Blanc – Hartfordgratefully acknowledges Brignole Vineyards as local wine partner as well as Chateau Ste Michelle as official national partner of the 2019 US series of Le Dîner en Blanc.
