The Park Road Association’s Beautification Club will hold a clean-up day on Park Road on Sept. 27.

The Park Road Association’s Beautification Club’s Annual Fall Clean Up Walk is set for Sunday, Sept. 27, at 9 a.m.

Volunteers are needed to support this community-wide effort. Advanced registration is not required. Participants are asked to check in with the Beautification Club coordinators on the patio of Playhouse on Park, 244 Park Road.  Check in will begin at 8:45 a.m.

This clean up event is being planned the week prior to our new “Fall for Park Road” family festival. We want to do our best to clean up ahead of welcoming the public to Park Road for this special event. Anyone who cares about the Park Road neighborhood is encouraged to participate.

There are six walking routes, and walkers will be will split up into six groups. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Rubber gloves and trash bags will be provided.

Park Road neighborhood residents/business owners are encouraged to participate by cleaning up their store fronts, stoops, patios, sidewalks, etc.

The Park Road Association’s Beautification Club typically schedules two Community Clean Up Days per year: once in the spring and again in the fall just ahead of the annual Fall for Park Road family festival. In-between events, Park Road neighbors (business and residential) are encouraged to keep the community clean by picking up trash on walks, in front of store fronts and homes.

The Park Road Association strives to improve the quality of life for the Park Road neighborhood by maintaining the aesthetics and safety of the community, bringing people together through events, and improving business promotion on Park Road and the surrounding streets.
