A celebration was held Nov. 7, 2022 at the Mandell JCC in West Hartford, announcing the 2022 Best of West Hartford winners in more than 50 categories.

A crowd of more than 150 gathered, mingled and networked with other area business owners and representatives, as the annual Best of West Hartford event returned to in-person format for the eighth annual celebration.
Cheers rang out as, near the end of the evening, as winners, as well as first and second runners-up, were revealed during a slide show – a surprise to all involved. Many of the winners were in the audience and share excited hugs.
Thousands of votes were cast, and in some categories it took more than 1,000 votes to be named winner, event organizer Tom Hickey, president of event producer 2020Media said.

Comedian Paul Gregory served as emcee of the event, and WTNH anchor and reporter Dennis House announced the winners.
