The public is welcome to provide input in advance of the Connecticut Police Officers Standards and Training Council discuss of ALPR cameras later this month.

If you’re on the road in Connecticut, cameras are most likely watching and documenting where you go. Your license plate will be photographed. The make and model of your car noted. Potential bumper stickers recorded.

And while some safeguards regarding Automatic License Plate Readers were put in place in this year’s legislative session, many say it is not enough.
