Broder Group Joins Forces with William Raveis Real Estate

As of March 1, 2015, ERA Broder Group is now part of the William Raveis Real Estate company.

Scott Broder and Evan Berman co-owned the ERA Broder Group franchise for the past 10 years, and were partners for several years before that, but as of this week their company has joined forces with the largest family-owned real estate company in the Northeast – officially becoming William Raveis Broder Group.

“We felt that affilliation with William Raveis was in the best and strongest interest of our company, our agents, and our clients,” said Berman. Their 10-year franchise agreement with ERA was expiring, he said, and he and Broder felt that becoming part of Raveis would be in everyone’s best interest.

“We will remain who we are but have a much stronger brand affilliation to allow for maximum growth,” said Berman. They will also benefit from the tools and technology that the larger company offers, he said.

The 20 agents and support staff that are now William Raveis Broder Group will remain in the office space at 43 North Main St. in West Hartford that they have occupied for the past 15 years. They will also maintain the same phone number, email addresses, and website, but are officially the second William Raveis location in West Hartford. The existing Raveis office is at 125 LaSalle Rd.

“We are extremely excited. Our combined offices will have the number one market share in West Hartford,” Broder said.

Spring is also something they are excited about.

“We are excited that the spring real estate market is going to be here sooner than you know it. And the market will be good,” Berman said.
