Camp KO enters its third week with an array of guest speakers and special events that help to make it one of the most unique and popular day camps in the Greater Hartford area.

Encompassing 25 different programs over five weeks, the holistic camp on the Kingswood Oxford campus is giving hundreds of kids in grades 5-11 the chance to delve into a particular interest in sports, academics, or the arts – while also benefiting from the nutrition, stretching and conditioning, and personal-success units built into every camper’s day.

  • Robotics competitions judged by engineers from Hubbell Corp. on Friday, July 17, and Friday, July 31

And over the next two weeks:

  • Renowned restauranteur Billy Grant will give Cooking campers a tour of his eponymous restaurant in West Hartford Center and will also speak to all Camp KO campers
  • Guest speaker Deb Baer Fiske, guard on the UConn women’s basketball team from 1988-92
  • A Farmers Market, in partnership with Growing Great Schools, on the KO campus on July 23, 3-5:30 p.m.
