The Charity Fur Ball Gala: A Night of Compassion and Celebration for Animal Rescue Foundation, Inc. will take place at the Fred Astaire Dance Studios in West Hartford.

Animal Rescue Foundation, Inc. is thrilled to announce its upcoming Charity Fur Ball, set to take place on Friday, March 8, from 6:30-9 p.m. at the prestigious Fred Astaire Dance Studios Ballroom located at 141 South Street Suite F, West Hartford, CT 06110.
The Charity Fur Ball promises an enchanting evening dedicated to supporting the vital work of Animal Rescue Foundation, Inc. Guests will be treated to an array of delightful experiences, including a silent auction featuring charming gift baskets, a wine pull fundraiser, music, and dancing. This semi-formal affair will also feature a complimentary introductory group ballroom dance lesson, ensuring attendees are ready to hit the dance floor with style and grace.
“We are excited to invite our community to join us for an unforgettable evening of compassion and celebration,” said Sarah Kelleher, Volunteer and Fundraising Event Coordinator for The Fur Ball at Animal Rescue Foundation, Inc. “The Charity Fur Ball not only promises an evening of entertainment but also serves as a crucial fundraiser for our non-profit organization. With each ticket purchase, guests directly contribute to the care and support of abandoned, abused, and neglected cats and dogs in our shelter.”
The schedule of events for the evening is as follows:
- 6:30-7:15 p.m.: Complimentary Introductory Group Dance Lesson – Learn the basic steps of ballroom dancing from the Professional Dance Instructors at Fred Astaire.
- 7:15-9 p.m.: General Dancing, Silent Auction & Wine Pull Fundraiser. Guests will indulge in hors d’oeuvres, desserts, wine, and non-alcoholic refreshments as they partake in the festivities.
Tickets for the Charity Fur Ball are priced at $30 per person or $55 for couples and must be purchased in advance. All proceeds from ticket sales and fundraising activities directly benefit Animal Rescue Foundation, Inc.
In the event of inclement weather, the Charity Fur Ball will be rescheduled to Friday, March 15, 2024, at the same time.
