West Hartford’s inaugural Community Block Party will be held on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024.

Everyone is invited to a Community Block Party on Sunday, Oct. 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Town Hall parking lot.

What better way to bring neighbors together during an ever changing world than an old-fashioned way community block party that celebrates the beautiful diversity of West Hartford. The free event features a scavenger hunt, neighbor speed dating, school mascots, and food trucks.

“This is part of an overall series of events to bring our neighbors and families together,” said Adrienne Billings-Smith, West Hartford’s equity officer and organizer of the event. “We want to continue to build bridges and partnerships rather than moats and silos. In the end we all need each other.”
