Contents of West Hartford Restaurant to be Auctioned This Week

The contents of Angelo’s on Main, which closed on Dec. 23, will be auctioned off on Tuesday, Jan. 16.

On Tuesday, January 16, beginning at 10 a.m., all of the contents of Angelo’s on Main restaurant, Rockledge Golf Club’s popular former clubhouse, will be auctioned off in preparation of extensive renovations by Chip Kohn and the Beachland Group.

From glassware to refrigerators, from bar stools to point-of-service systems, it all must go!

From 9-10 a.m., interested buyers may preview the items. Bidding will get underway at 10 a.m. by a professional auctioneer. All equipment and items will be sold “as is.”

Any item purchased, must be removed by either by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16 or between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018.

Cash or credit cards will be accepted for the live auction and credit card only for the online bidding. A $2.99 service fee will be added to any credit card transaction. All invoices are paid on the same day as the auction. Bidders can pay and leave at any time.

Angelo’s on Main closed on Dec. 23, 2017, upon the retirement of Angelo Chirico who operated the restaurant for the last 16 seasons. The new restaurant is expected to open in the spring of 2018.
