Deputy Mayor Beth Kerrigan is excited to announce the official kick-off of her campaign for re-election to the West Hartford Town Council.

Kerrigan was endorsed by the West Hartford Democratic Town Committee after being nominated by Gregory Shimer and Marsha McCurdy Adell, one of West Hartford’s finest firefighters. Kerrigan is grateful for the support of State Sen. Derek Slap, State Reps. Jillian Gilchrest, Tammy Exum, and Joe Verrengia as well as the local Democratic Town Committee.

“I have enjoyed being trusted by our residents the past four years. It has been a true honor. I listen to their concerns and bring them to the town council for action. I am passionate about engaging in the issues we face as a town socially, legally, fiscally, and culturally. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with Mayor Shari Cantor along with the Council as a whole to keep West Hartford the ‘go-to’ town it is for public education as well as providing a business friendly climate, maintaining our parks and libraries, promoting desirable housing for various ages and income and to always make sure our community is a safe welcoming place to raise your family,” Kerrigan said.

State Rep. Jillian Gilchrest will be hosting Kerrigan’s kick-off party in her home, at 360 North Quaker Lane, on Monday, Sept. 9 at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to join and be a part of West Hartford’s future.
