Victoria Mooney and Kevin Cronin will host, and Latanya Farrell and a cast of many others will perform at Playhouse Theatre Group’s annual fundraiser, ‘Encore!’ on April 26, 2025.

West Hartford’s Playhouse on Park gala will again be more than a standard and subdued cocktail party – with “Pop Rocks!” the theme of this year’s Encore! signature fundraiser.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 26, from 6 p.m. to midnight at the brand new Bristol Events Center, and will include dinner, drinks, live/silent auctions, dancing, world-class live performances, and more – including dancing until midnight to the music of the acclaimed Latanya Farrell.

Guests are encouraged to “dress like a rock star” – and the theme will “be fully realized through all aspects of the event,” organizers said. Even the chosen attire will likely provide entertainment, based on the suggestions provided by Playhouse on Park’s Pinterest page.

Tori Mooney and Kevin Cronin will serve as hosts for the event, with Rachel Orkin-Ramey as live auctioneer. Many past performers from the Playhouse on Park stage will prove lively entertainment.

All proceeds from Encore! will help keep professional live theatre on the Playhouse on Park stage in West Hartford, and will also support theater arts programs for children, youth, and schools through Playhouse Theatre Academy for years to come. The online auction will be live as of April 16, and can be found here.
