West Hartord Libraries and West Hartford Community Interactive will host a Tween and Teen Virtual Talent Showcase.

Submitted

During this pandemic, the West Hartford Libraries invite “quaranteens” and tweens (ages 10+) to submit videos for a special virtual talent showcase.

Videos should be 1-3 minutes in length and can feature any talent including singing, dancing, musical instruments, magic, poetry, sports skills, and more. Clips will be edited by West Hartford Community Interactive (WCHi) and telecast in a program on Comcast Cable Channel 5, Frontier Cable Channel 6098 and YouTube on Monday, July 20, at 6 p.m.

Interested teens should visit the West Hartford Libraries Teen Summer Reading page to upload their video and fill out a waiver form. All materials must be received on or before July 6 to be entered into the talent showcase.

More information and submission rules can be found on the West Hartford Libraries website www.westhartfordlibrary.org or by calling the Teen Services Department at 860-561-6996.
