Hall girls soccer lost a close game, 2-1, to Simsbury on Tuesday at home in West Hartford.

Simsbury – which had given up only one goal on the season – got out to a quick 2-0 lead in the first half. The Warriors’  Sarah Punt answered for the home team before the end of the half.

Simsbury had the better of the opportunities in the second half, but senior goalie Allie Keith was quick off her line and had a strong save on a close-in shot to keep it a one-goal game.

The Warriors could not find the tying goal, and with their three-game winning streak snapped fall to 5-3-4 on the season. They will travel to Glastonbury on Thursday, before a rematch with Simsbury on Oct. 26

Simsbury improves to 7-0-5 on the season.
