JewGood Hartford, the West Hartford-based Jewish Community Foundation’s giving circle of young professionals, will create good vibes and bond with each other by hosting a virtual JewGood “Hangout” online on March 20 at 6 p.m.

JewGood Hangouts are informal social events usually held in person for young professionals of all backgrounds to develop friendships and connect about social justice. JewGood Hartford will practice social distancing – yet stay very social and supportive –  by lighting candles and sharing conversation with everyone from their homes, starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 20.

Young professionals can join the JewGood Virtual Hangout by logging into Zoom:  https://zoom.us/j/149627509

“JewGood Hartford empowers young professionals to make a positive difference in any challenging situation,” says Eric Maurer, Steering Committee Member of JewGood Hartford and Executive Director of JTConnect. “We welcome creative ideas and philanthropic discussions that strengthen the Greater Hartford community, and we are always connecting through social media.”

JewGood Hartford is a giving circle of young professionals.  Members, or JewGooders, pool their money together and vote to give grants to help causes in Greater Hartford. This model of collaborative grant-making allows members to affect change on social issues and celebrate their positive impact together.
