To the Editor,

I’m writing to you in support of Mary Fay. I’ve served on the West Hartford Board of Ed for the last 6 years and as a commissioner on the Zoning Board of Appeals for two years prior. Without reservation, Mary is the right person at the right time. For too long the district has been controlled by the democrats. Regardless of what side of the isle you sit on, I think we can agree that CT has not prospered and a change is needed. Anytime a position is held for 20 plus years by one party, a fresh set perspective is needed. Mary is that breath of fresh air we’ve been looking for! The Independent party thinks so too and has proudly endorsed her.

Her leadership, both on the Town Council and as a corporate executive is essential to cut through Hartford’s red tape and be an agent of change! She brings a long history as an innovated problem solver who leads from the middle, understanding both sides of the issue.

If you want to prioritize spending, improve efficiencies, with someone who’s an expert in pensions and healthcare, Mary Fay is the only choice.

GO VOTE!

Respectively,
Mark Zydanowicz
West Hartford
