The Bridge Family Center’s Children’s Charity Ball is nearly sold out, and organizers expect 375 residents and community leaders to attend the 18th annual gala on Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Hartford Golf Club in West Hartford.

The theme of this year’s black-tie event is “Imagine,” and everything will be “coming up pink” as attendees enjoy a cocktail reception, sit-down dinner, live and silent auctions, and dancing to the live Timmy Maia Band. Festivities begin at 6 p.m.

The committee has outdone itself securing auction items this year, and the phenomenal live auction will include tickets to “Saturday Night Live” along with a luxury hotel; an overnight at the soon-to-open Delamar West Hartford with dinner for two and a couples massage; and two trips for two people each to an African game reserve. Featured in the silent auction will be a large variety of restaurant gift cards, jewelry, works of art, fine wines and liquors, sporting goods and events, children’s items, and more.

There will also be a raffle for six unique baskets filled with items related to the “Imagine” theme and created by the creative and enthusiastic volunteers who comprise the gala committee.

Scot Haney, Channel 3 Meteorologist and co-Host of “Better Connecticut,” will reprise his role as emcee for the event.

Funds raised at the Children’s Charity Ball will support the vital work of The Bridge Family Center, providing services and support for young people and families including many throughout the Greater Hartford area who are struggling. More information about the organization can be found on its website.

Allstate Insurance Company is this year’s presenting sponsor. Other top sponsors include UTC, All Waste, eBenefits Group Northeast, Farmington Bank, Farmington Company, The McInerney Family, Reid and Riege, Robinson & Cole, and Webster Bank.
