The Mandell JCC announces the live concert with Israeli pianist, vocalist and composer Guy Mintus and the Guy Mintus Trio, Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, at 7 p.m., at the Herbert & Evelyn Gilman Theater at the Mandell JCC, 335 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford.

A highly educated classical pianist, Mintus will perform his latest album, “A Gershwin Playground,” his third trio release, dedicated to Jewish composer George Gershwin. Mintus injects his trademark high-voltage energy, including rapid-fire piano fills and a pulsating jazz beat, to what is normally a placid lullaby.

Tickets can be purchased through this link, and are $25 each, and $18 for students.

The event is being co-sponsored by the Consulate General of Israel to New England, Ted Kaplan & Bobbie Woronow, and Delamar Hotels.
