A free workshop entitled “Adventures in Mindfulness for Parents and Childcare Providers,” by veteran educator Ann Sullivan, M.S., will be offered on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. at Saint Brigid School in West Hartford.

Ann Sullivan, M.S., a veteran educator and teacher at Aiken Elementary School in West Hartford, has seen the incredible benefits of mindfulness practice in her classroom. Ann has attended a variety of trainings on mindfulness including “The Mindful Way of Education Course” held in Costa Rica this past summer and led by authors Daniel Rechtshaffen (The Way of Mindful Education: Cultivating Well Being in Teachers and Children) and Linda Lantieri (Building Emotional Intelligence).
