Last Saturday night, Northwest Catholic High School (NWC) held its annual signature fundraiser, “Celebrate Northwest!”

This year’s event was hosted by NWC’s president Fr. Michael Dolan and was held in the school’s Johnson Gymnasium with over 310 current parents, alumni, and alumni parents as well as faculty and staff members. This year’s theme was “March Madness” and the gymnasium was filled with two 12-foot-by-9-foot TV screens as well as other large TVs so that everyone could watch the NCAA Final Four games. Black Eyed Sally’s and Puerta Vallarta catered the event with a vast array of tasty treats!

NBC Channel 30’s Mike Hydeck, who is a current NWC parent, was this year’s Master of Ceremonies. WTNH’s Dennis House and WFSB’s Kara Sundlun, who are also current NWC parents, were the Live Auction and Fund-A-Need Auctioneers. Father Dolan also joined in on stage to welcome everyone and help with the Live Auction. This year’s Fund-A-Need was targeted to help raise funding for the school’s much needed locker room renovations.

This year’s Celebrate Northwest! was a big success – exceeding NWC’s its fundraising goal for this event.  Contributions to this year’s Fund-A-Need can still be made on-line at: Celebrate Northwest! 2022 – Northwest Catholic High School.
