On Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 10 a.m., Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford will host its Fifth Annual Scholarship Scamper 5K Road Race. This chip-timed event, which begins and ends on the Northwest Catholic campus, is competitive for serious runners, welcoming for casual runners and walkers, and fun for everyone.

Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to participate in the event. After the race there will be a celebration, including food, beverages, and fun for the whole family. Awards will be given in 19 categories, including Men’s Overall Division, Women’s Overall Division, and top male and female high school student finishers.

The race and its affiliated Adam M. Lawton ’99 Memorial Scholarship has raised over $16,000 for the Northwest Catholic Fund, providing scholarships for Northwest Catholic students. The top male and female high school student finishers are awarded the Adam M. Lawton ’99 Memorial Cup.
