Many school groups, scouting groups, and teams have attended Rock Cats games en masse throughout the years, but on July 12, 2015, the first official “West Hartford Day” will be held at the New Britain stadium.

At 1:35 p.m., the Colorado Rockies AA affiliate Rock Cats will take on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays), and organizers hope to have a West Hartford crowd in attendance for the games as well as other fun family activities. All of the West Hartford fans will be seated together in one area of the stadium.

“Family Fun Day” activities, including the opportunity for kids to run the bases of the minor league park, will be presented by Harte Auto Group.

A variety of group packages are available (see PDF below), and some include the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial pitch, participation in a pre-game ceremony, and a welcome on Rock Cats Radio Network.

The intent of the day, according to the Rock Cats, is to offer the West Hartford community an afternoon of “fun, entertainment and baseball.”
