Holy Family Retreat Center in pleased to announce its second annual “Taste of Holy Family” Open House will be held on Sunday, Sept. 20, from 1 to 5 p.m.

The campus at Holy Family has seen significant growth over the past few years and is currently home to four distinct yet complementary entities. The public is warmly invited to stop by and sample what these organizations have to offer.

The four entities on the Holy Family campus being featured are:

  • The legacy Holy Family Retreat Center, where individuals of all religious faiths and backgrounds can quiet their minds, nourish their spirits, and explore their connection to God through peace-filled day, evening, and weekend retreats and programs;
  • The Copper Beech Institute, where seekers can experience the transformative power of mindfulness and meditation practice to awaken to the fullness of their potential;
  • The Golden Thread Gallery, for inspirational art exhibits and talks by professional and emerging artists of various backgrounds, cultures and religions; and
  • The Spiritual Life Center, a non-denominational community committed to promoting peace, justice and care of creation by offering programs of spiritual mentoring to individuals, groups, and organizations.

“Last year’s open house was a tremendous success, with more than 400 people visiting us,” said Fr. David Cinquegrani, director of Holy Family Retreat Center. “It’s a wonderful way for the community to get to know us and to learn about the many life-changing spiritual programs and activities being offered on our campus.”

The Holy Family campus is located at 303 Tunxis Rd. in West Hartford.  Reservations are not necessary, and people of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome. Activities include concerts featuring the retreat center’s talented musicians, campus tours, refreshments, mini retreat experiences and more.
