Sen. Slap Will Host Forum on Long-Term Care Insurance and Prescription Drugs

State Sen. Derek Slap will host a community forum at West Hartford Town Hall regarding long-term care insurance and the high cost of prescription drugs.

State Sen. Derek Slap (D-West Hartford) is inviting the public to join him this Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020 from 6-7:30 p.m. in Town Council Chambers at West Hartford Town Hall, 50 South Main St., for a public forum he is hosting to discuss the issues of affordable long-term care insurance and prescription drug costs.

Joining Sen. Slap will be State Sen. Matt Lesser of Middletown, who chairs the legislature’s Insurance and Real Estate Committee; State Rep. Mike Demicco of Farmington, who serves on the Public Health Committee; Anna Doroghazi, associate state director of Advocacy and Outreach for the CT AARP; and Steven Hernandez, executive director of the Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity & Opportunity.
