Eat IN Connecticut’s St. Paddy’s Day Pub Crawl will provide participants with a chance to get their green on for a cause, offering food and drink specials at five restaurants in West Hartford’s Blue Back Square in support of the Healing Meals Community Project.

“We are so excited to bring another fundraising pub crawl to West Hartford’s Blue Back Square area,” said Eat IN Connecticut co-founder and event organizer Kristen Fritz. “This is the fourth Crawl Eat IN Connecticut has organized as a way to bring the community together while helping to raise funds for some amazing non-profit organizations. The support we have received from the restaurants and the community has been just incredible.”

Fritz said that Healing Meals Community Project has been chosen as the beneficiary for the funds raised from this crawl. The Healing Meals Community Project is “a wonderful organization that provides nourishing meals to families struggling with a health crisis. The Crawl is such a fun way to get together with friends while raising funds for a great cause,” she said.

The St. Paddy’s Day Pub Crawl will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2019, from 1- 5 p.m. During that four-hour period, Crawl participants will enjoy discounted food and drink specials at five participating restaurants: Artisan, Flora, INDIA, The Cook and The Bear, and Vinted.

Fritz said that included with the specials at each restaurant will be one “healthy cocktail” – a green drink special that’s low in calories, for the health-conscious crawlers. The restaurants will make a donation of $1 per healthy cocktail purchased to the beneficiary.

Guests, who must be 21 or older, must pick up their Pub Crawl bracelet at Artisan (1 Memorial Rd., in the Delamar Hotel) on the day of the event, but are welcome to crawl to any participating restaurant in any order.

There will also be gift card giveaways throughout the day.

Tickets are $15 in advance through Brown Paper Tickets: “Eat IN Connecticut Pub Crawl” and $20 at the door.
