Stolen Car and Car Burglary Suspect Caught Thanks to Observant Resident

A resident contacted police early Monday morning after seeing as suspicious man looking into cars.

A Hartford man was arrested early Monday morning after an alert resident called police after seeing the man walking up and down driveways looking into cars.
Police were contacted at 1:22 a.m. Monday. According to police, when Off. Nicholas Sanford arrived on the scene, a man matching the description of the suspect was observed standing motionless in the driveway of 15 Sequin Rd.
Police said the suspect fled into the backyard when Sanford attempted to make contact with him.
Police said they then established a perimeter and were able to locate the suspect, who was hiding under a deck at 17 Sequin Rd.
Police said that in addition to car burglary, the suspect, Neftali Bruno– Pablon, 30, of Sigourney Street in Hartford, is the suspect in the theft of a stolen car that was also found on Sequin Road. .
Bruno-Pablon has been charged with third-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, third-degree larceny, sixth-degree larceny, interfering with officers, and simple trespass. He was held on $2,500 surety bond.
