Noah Webster House and Hello! West Hartford, a community organization that celebrates the diversity in our town, held their second Taste of Culture. This Tavern Night had over 40 guests enjoying food, music and dance from our diverse West Hartford cultures. The evening included a three-course meal featuring cuisines and entertainment from three prominent West Hartford cultures.
- Peruvian ceviche appetizers by Cora Cora with entertainment by Peruvian Arts and Craft: Jesus Robles directing Walter and Aron Valensuela and Daniela and Giselle Pereira as well as a Marinera dance by Juan and Maria Jasinto
- Indian chicken tikka masala by Bombay Olive and entertainment by Nachele and Yasha Didi Dance School
- Nepalese kheer dessert by Bombay Olive and entertainment by Nepalese Cultural Dance
This event was a sampling of what will be coming on April 25, 2016, when Hello! West Hartford will hold its 5th Year in Revue at West Hartford Town Hall. They are looking for groups or individuals to share their food, song and dance.
