‘The Inspirational Woman-2020’ featuring works by artist Rebecca Rose, will open March 5 at the Noah Webster House in West Hartford.

The Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society invites the public to the opening reception for “The Inspirational Woman- 2020” featuring original works by artist Rebecca Rose which celebrate the lives of inspiring women throughout Connecticut. The reception will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2020, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the
Noah Webster House, 227 S. Main St., West Hartford, CT.

Rebecca Rose Fine Portraits is an award-winning portrait photography studio in Colchester, CT specializing in heirloom artwork. Rebecca Rose is a photographer, entrepreneur, designer, and artist. Celebrating women is a subject dear to Rebecca who showcases the beauty, uniqueness, and importance of each woman who comes into her studio. These women have great impact both in the community and in their families. Rebecca strives to make sure each woman’s essence is captured in a fine art portrait that can be admired and remembered for generations to come.

The exhibit opening is free and open to the public. No registration is required.

The Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society is a cultural destination where citizens can learn to understand and appreciate the past. The museum preserves the birthplace of Noah Webster, the founding father, educator, author, and lexicographer who taught generations of Americans what it means to be American. This National Historic Landmark is also a repository for the history of West Hartford, the community  that molded Noah Webster’s future and is still thriving over 250 years later.
