The School of Ballet Theatre Company (SBTC) is pleased to announce a unique opportunity with its Variation Intensive for its 2024 summer term session.
Ballet Theatre Company (BTC) is thrilled to announce its fourth annual Variation intensive for summer 2024. BTC will offer a unique experience to intermediate/advanced pointe students to learn a classical ballet variation, receive professional 1:1 coaching, and perform in a costume in front of dance professionals who will adjudicate the students’ performance. Students may also invite family and friends to attend the Variation performance.
Students must have at least two years of pointe experience to participate in the intensive. Spots are very limited to accommodate 1:1 coaching and space as this intensive is offered in-studio only. The Variation Intensive will have two sessions:
- Session 1 – June 17-21: Monday-Friday 5-9:15 p.m. Showcase is Friday at 7 p.m. Levels: Beginner/Intermediate, SBTC levels: Variation I & II. Non-SBTC students: Ages 14-16.
- Session 2 – June 24-28: Monday-Friday 5-9:15 p.m. Showcase is Friday at 7 p.m. Levels: Intermediate/Advanced Level, SBTC levels: Variation III & IV. Non-SBTC students: Ages 15-18
