West Hartford-based Firebrick Design has joined Idlewilde Printing Co. in their CommuniTEEs initiative to raise funds to ensure that families can continue their child’s cancer care during the pandemic shutdown.

A limited-edition tee designed by Firebrick Design embraces the “Lemon Life,” because “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” All proceeds from the t-shirt will go toward Alex’s Lemonade Stand Emergency COVID Fund.

The t-shirt fundraiser replaces the annual West Hartford Alex’s Lemonade Stand that had to be canceled due to the quarantine. Alex Scott was a West Hartford native, and both businesses are also located locally.

“Idlewilde Printing has created this amazing initiative,” said Pam Howard of Firebrick Design. “All the tees give extra help to much needed organizations. I know how stressful pediatric cancer treatments can be on an average day; the pandemic really makes everything for these families that much more difficult.”

The limited edition tees are being sold during a two-week pre-sale only, that runs through May 26. For more information or to order, visit the Idlewilde Printing website. You can also obtain more information at  Firebrickdesign.com or by emailing [email protected].
