West Hartford and Wheeler YMCAs to Hold ‘Pour Your Support’ for Adaptive Programs

The wine, beer, and spirits tasting on May 17 will support adaptive programs at the West Hartford YMCA and Wheeler YMCA.

The West Hartford YMCA and Wheeler Regional Family YMCA are pleased to announce the first combined  fundraiser event to benefit Adaptive Programs at the West Hartford and Wheeler YMCAs.

The fundraising event named “POUR YOUR SUPPORT for Adaptive Programs” is scheduled for Friday, May 17, 2019, at Farmington Gardens, Farmington, CT, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. The exciting evening of support and celebration will include food, music, and silent auctions as well as tastings of wines, beers, and spirits.

The fundraiser will support YMCA Adaptive Sports and Recreation and Wellness Programs which help provide access to people of all ages with cognitive and physical disabilities to participate in activities that promote physical fitness, health and wellness, increased self-esteem, and greater functional independence.
