The West Hartford Art League is holding its annual juried exhibit, CT+6, from April 14 – May 19 in their two galleries at 37 Buena Vista Road.

CT+6 is open to artists throughout New England and New York, and is the Art League’s most selective exhibit of the year.

This year’s jurors were Vermont-based artist Eric Aho and Brian Williams, owner and director of the William Scott Gallery in Boston and Provincetown, MA.

Close to 700 works of art were submitted this year, and juried down to 108 pieces that will be on display.

There will be an opening reception on Sunday, April 14 from 2-4 p.m. Awards will be presented at 3 p.m. in the Clubhouse Gallery.

The Best of Show winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize. The public is invited.

Gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Admission to the galleries is always free and open to the public. The West Hartford Art League is located at 37 Buena Vista Road in West Hartford. More information can be found on the westhartfordart.org or by calling 860-231-8019.
