As summer comes to an end, campers have been enjoying the final weeks of West Hartford Leisure Services camps.

While school may be on the mind of many parents and caregivers, summer fun is still the name of the game for the pre-teen set.
West Hartford Public Schools resume classes on Aug. 31, but camp programs through Leisure Services have been going strong throughout the first few weeks of August, with offerings that have included Camp Fantastic at Beachland and Fernridge Parks, animal- and nature-related camps at Westmoor Park, and an assortment of sports camps.
