The West Hartford Chamber of Commerce (WHCC) is making mountains out of milestones on June 15, when it holds its 28th Annual Meeting. The event, which will take place at Pond House Café in West Hartford from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m., will feature dinner and an awards ceremony.
As is traditional, the Chamber will honor a Noah Webster Award Winner for extraordinary service to the West Hartford community and a Volunteer of the Year. In addition, those members who have been Chamber members for more than 25, 35, and even 50 years will be recognized.
“It really is amazing to see how many businesses have been in good standing with the Chamber and with the West Hartford community for multiple decades,” said Barbara Lerner, executive director of the WHCC. “We wanted to do something special to acknowledge not only their work over the long term, but also their contributions to life in West Hartford. This is going to take the celebration to a new level and make for a night that lets us look back and, at the same time, inspires us to look ahead to all the good we can do as businesses, neighbors, partners and friends.”
The complete listing of businesses to be acknowledged is available at http://web.whchamber.com/events/Annual-Meeting-Awards-Ceremony-138/details. Those interested may also register via this link; tickets are $50.00 per person and must be purchased in advance.
The 28th Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner is sponsored by AbbottBall Company, the American School for the Deaf, Comcast Business, DirectLine Media, LLC, Mental Health Association of Connecticut, Inc., Retirement Visions, LLC, and The Hartford Courant.
