In the month of December, Girl Scout Troop 10453 from Braeburn Elementary hand made gifts which would be donated to the children’s hospital.

The gifts were sleeping bags made from fleece fabric, big enough for a doll/action figure or stuffed animal.

The girls worked hard on this project and were happy to know they would make a child in the hospital smile.

Last weekend, Kyla Cheng and Audriana Rodriguez (pictured) delivered the gifts to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford.

Co-leaders Angela Alatrista, Jean Rim, and Laura Buckman are very proud of the girls and their caring hearts.

Girl Scout Troop 10453 is is made up of 19 third grade girls from Braeburn Elementary School.
