The U.S. Air Force Academy Band will perform a free concert on Tuesday, April 8 at 7 p.m. at the Rockville High School. All are welcome.

Eight members of the Rockville High School band will join the Air Force Academy Band on one song.

“This incredible ensemble is one of the finest in all of the armed forces and this performance, the first stop in a national tour, promises to be nothing short of spectacular,” said Raymond J. Sinclair II, the director of bands at Rockville High School.

The concert will feature patriotic favorites and present favorites from the genres of jazz, pop, classical, country and more. The band features two members from Connecticut: Technical Sgt. Gabe Petkaitis of West Hartford and Technical Sgt. Mike Coletti of Fairfield.

People without tickets will be seated 15 minutes before the performance on a space available basis. The concert is at the Rockville High School auditorium, 70 Loveland Hill Road, Vernon.
