Troop 146 announces that Spencer Woolfson, of West Hartford, has earned the Gold Palm, an award reserved for scouts who have already earned the highest rank of Eagle Scout and have demonstrated further advancements in Scout Spirit, leadership and ability. This is a rare achievement in scouting and Troop 146 is honored to have Spencer as an example for other scouts.

Woolfson is the son of Colleen Masse and Richard Woolfson of West Hartford.

Serving youth for over 50 years, Troop 146 meets at the West Hartford United Methodist Church on New Britain across from Wolcott Park.  Troop 146 will be having an Open House on Jan. 15, 2015, for any families interested in learning more about the Troop and scouting in general.
