John Mirabello, a member of the faculty at Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford, has been honored with the 2023 Light of Christ Teacher Recognition Award.

Northwest Catholic High School is delighted to announce that John Mirabello, an esteemed member of the faculty, has been honored with the prestigious 2023 Light of Christ Teacher Recognition Award. This award serves as a testament to his outstanding contributions and unwavering dedication to Catholic education.

As a teacher of history and physical education, intramural moderator, and head boys basketball coach at Northwest Catholic, Mirabello’s impact goes far beyond the classroom walls. Through his coaching and mentoring efforts, he consistently goes above and beyond in shaping the character and future of our youth.

The Light of Christ Teacher Recognition Award is made possible by The Hartford Bishops’ Foundation – a foundation that celebrates exceptional educators who positively influence students’ lives through their commitment to teaching excellence.
