Susan Schoenberger will address the West Hartford Women in Networking to speak about her work at the Hartford Seminary and her latest novel on Thursday, Dec. 19.

Susan Schoenberger, director of communications at Hartford Seminary, will will address the West Hartford Women in Networking Thursday to speak about the Hartford Seminary, its history, landmark architecture, and the opportunities it offers.

Hartford Seminary is known around the world as a unique interfaith institution that does the important work of dialogue and peace-building. It operates as an independent graduate school serving Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and other students, and also offers free public programming on all sorts of fascinating topics. Bring your questions!

Schoenberger will also talk briefly about her work as an author and her next book, “The Liability of Love,” which is set in 1980s Hartford.

Schoenberger, a West Hartford resident, previously worked as a journalist and copyeditor for many years, including at The Hartford Courant. She is also the award-winning author of of two published novels and one forthcoming in 2021.

West Hartford Women in Networking holds monthly meetings for women interested in connecting with other women.  The meetings offer a combination of networking, support, education and fun!

Schoenberger will speak to the West Hartford Women in Networking on Thursday, Dec. 19, from 7:30-9:30 a.m., at Chatfield/Brookdale, One Chatfield Dr., West Hartford, CT.

The meeting will also include introductions, networking, door prizes, and breakfast snacks. There will be a display table, and attendees are welcome to bring business cards, brochures, etc. New attendees are welcome and there is no membership fee. The meeting cost is $2 person.
