Blue Back Square was cracking up on Tuesday, March 27, at the first ever We-Ha-HA! Comedy Night, coordinated by WHMedia

When any new idea is launched, there is some risk involved. Will they come? Will they laugh?
Much to the relief of Elizabeth Zigmont of Blue Back Square management team, and Tom Hickey of WHMedia, Tuesday night’s ‘We-Ha-HA! Comedy Night’ was filled with smiling faces and plenty of laughs. Blue Back management is now wondering when it will come back again. (Follow #wehaevents for dates and events.)
“I haven’t seen a turnout like this on a Saturday night, never mind a Tuesday,” commented headliner Rafi Gonzalez who hails from Westfield, MA. He was pleased with his relatively short drive to West Hartford and closed the early evening set a little past 7 p.m.
Comedian Paul Gregory, of Plainville, opened the entertainment portion of the evening and also coordinated the comics, doing an excellent job including a mix of styles. Additional comedians were Steven Fischman (West Hartford, CT), Kristine Blinn (Springfield, MA), and Penina Beede (West Hartford, CT).
The event included a small raffle, and to add some more fun, SnapSeat Photo Booths showcased its very compact “photo booth” that took a quick series of snap shots to immediately upload as a GIF. See samples here.
