Calling all ghosts, goblins, princesses, super heroes, and other costumed characters!
Children of all ages are invited to spend a fun morning at the annual Moms & More Club of West Hartford’s Halloween Stroll, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., in West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square.
There will be many more activities for kids, as well as adults, to enjoy. Local bands will be playing kid-friendly music, local sports mascots will be strolling the streets and posing for photos, there will be face painting, a fire truck will be available for climbing aboard, and there will be crafts, prizes, and food galore.
Candy will be in plentiful supply as well, courtesy of generous merchants.
All festivities are free, and activities will be organizzed in “stations”on LaSalle Road, Farmington Avenue, South Main Street, Memorial Road, and Isham Road. Strollers can begin at any point.
A special “Little Pumpkins” area will be designated in the REI parking lot off Raymond Road. Designed for children ages 2 and younger, it will be fully secured.
