The votes are in … and the top vote getters for the Eighth Annual Best of West Har
Greeting by Mayor Shari Cantor will begin at 5:30 p.m. sharp, WeHa HA COMEDY (presented by CT Physical Therapy Specialists) will be entertaining all evening, and Dennis House (WTNH-8) will close the evening at 7:15 p.m., announcing the highest vote-getters this year.
“The COVID pandemic caused us to cancel and reschedule the event in 2020 and 2021, but now the numbers of those infected – as well as the severity of the infections – has decreased and we feel comfortable scheduling this fun event that the West Hartford community looks forward to with great anticipation each year,” said Tom Hickey, president of 20/20 Media, sponsor of the 2022 Best of West Hartford
According to Hickey, more than 150 finalists were in the running for the 2022 “Best of…” title in a wide variety of categories, and the numbers of those voting for their favorites has been overwhelming. Winners will be presented with their award at the Nov. 7 event – the largest business-to-business networking event of the year.
Tickets to Best of West Hartford are $40, which entitles attendees to enjoy the evening’s food. Guests will also receive one free drink each served up by bartenders extraordinaire Two Pour Guys, with a cash bar on hand all evening. Business TABLES (10 guests) are available this year for $1,000 with signage displayed for you.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Business Supporter, the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce. Guests are also urged to bring a nonperishable food item which will be donated to the Anya Rosenberg Food Pantry at the JCC.
