Hall High Class of 2021 Celebrated with Car Parade

Hall High School’s seniors celebrated their upcoming graduation with a unique caravan through West Hartford on Sunday, June 13.

Hundreds of decorated cars filled with eager graduates and their families lined up at Hall High School to celebrate their graduation.
As the cars honked their horns, members of the community lined the sidewalks, cheering as the seemingly-endless number of vehicles passed by, escorted by the West Hartford Police Department and West Hartford Fire Department.
The parade cruised along North Main Street, Albany Avenue, Prospect Avenue, and Fern Street.
Many of the cars were adorned with balloons, decorations, and college stickers. Jeep Wranglers appeared to be the most popular mode of transportation, but there were also a few unique vehicles, including a limo and a vintage convertible.
A graduation car parade was first held amid the COVID-19 restrictions of 2020, and was so well-received by the community it returned this year. Hall’s graduation for the Class of 2021 will take place Tuesday, June 15, outdoors in the stadium.
Conard High School also held its graduation parade Sunday evening.
