Both proclamations noted Hughes’ achievement in providing quality care and winning the Gold – Excellence in Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living for superior performance in the long term and post-acute care profession; the Women’s Choice Award as one of America’s Best for Extended Care for the third consecutive year; the Hartford Business Journal’s Connecticut Family Business Award; and for the sixth consecutive year, a Best Nursing Home in America award by U.S. News & World Report.
