To the Editor:
The Connecticut Alliance for Retired Americans enthusiastically endorses Kate Farrar for re-election to the General Assembly.
Kate’s energy, enthusiasm and commitment to constituent services have been recognized by the citizens in her district as well as her colleagues in the General Assembly. Among her many legislative accomplishments, Kate has secured $2.5 million to build a community and senior center in the 20th district. She has championed the much needed elimination of taxes on pensions and annuities for middle class residents, and has been a strong supporter for early access voting.
Voters in Kate’s district have someone who is passionate about working on issues important to the residents in the 20th. We need Kate back in the Connecticut General Assembly.to continue working on important issues.
Bette Marafino,
West Hartford resident and president of the Connecticut Alliance for Retired Americans
