I’ve voted for Democrats, Republicans, independents and I’ve written in my candidate when I needed to. This time the choice is an easy one: I’m voting for Mary Fay for 18th district. She is without question the most qualified, experienced candidate to address Connecticut’s survival issues, both fiscal and economic. The survival of Connecticut is dependent on turning away from forty years of failed legislative tax and spend policies. Mary can hit the ground running to move Connecticut in a positive direction as part of a new legislature.
Mary Fay is the bonus candidate because of her 30 years of problem solving experience. She is trained as an accountant, been a leader in finance and solved health care and pension problems, the very issues that threaten to sink our state. She understands the long term structural changes that must be made and how they can be made. And she sees solutions far beyond additional taxes for legalizing pot and tolls.
Mary is the bonus candidate because she has a broad range of experience beyond business. While Connecticut’s survival does not depend on social policy changes this year, these are still important to Mary. She has worked for Save Our Water, is a volunteer at Morley School, a member of Town Council, and supports LGBT rights. Mary knows Survival is all about getting our deficit and unfunded liabilities under control so we can afford to sustain all important social policies.
Mary is the bonus candidate because she has a track record of making difficult decisions in life and business. Fixing Connecticut will require many hard decisions by our legislators. Mary knows how to make hard decisions and she’s got the gumption and perseverance to make them.
Vote for Mary Fay for state rep to bring back Connecticut.

Why has we-ha started using giant type (as in GIANT) – even AARP doesn’t do that. Actually makes it hard to read, very distracting.
We haven’t changed our settings at all! The font is the same type and size as it has always been.
