The Bishops Corner Neighborhood Association will be funding as many planters as possible, and is also hoping some businesses as well as individuals will be able to assist through sponsorship.

The Bishops Corner Neighborhood Association (BCNA) has partnered with KNOX Inc., residents and businesses over the last four years to bring large, colorful flower planters to Bishops Corner.

Each year, we hear our neighbors comment on how these planters beautify the community. Given how much individuals appreciate the planters, the BCNA wants to continue this program while recognizing the significant financial and social hardships our community and country are currently experiencing.

After much discussion, we are scaling back the program from 27 planters last year and are prepared to fund the program using the BCNA’s funds. Unfortunately, if the BCNA funds the program entirely, it will result in using most of our funds.

With limited ways to raise revenue, we are hopeful residents and/or businesses will continue to support the program as in the past to ease the financial burden on the BCNA. We have two sponsorship levels this year (we will gratefully accept any donation), including:

Business sponsorship of $295 which will include:

  • Business listed in all publicity including press releases.
  • Business logo on flyers, website and logo on planter signage

Friend of Bishops Corner sponsorship of $105 (for individuals/families) which will include:

  • Name listed in all publicity including press releases, flyers, website and signage on a shared planter.

To purchase a planter, or for more information, please email [email protected] or call 860-913-5575.
