Scholar to Deliver Lecture About the ‘Prodigal Son’ in West Hartford

Two West Hartford religious institutions and Hartford International University for Religion and Peac are partnering for a program about the ‘Prodigal Son.’

The public is invited to an illuminating lecture on Tuesday, June 20, at 7 p.m. about the Prodigal Son with top scholar Dr. Amy-Jill Levine.

This lecture will take place at Beth David Synagogue, with a reception to follow across the street in the Parish Center at St. Thomas the Apostle. This is an in-person-only event co-hosted by Beth David Synagogue, Saint Thomas & Saint Timothy Parish, and the Hartford International University for Religion and Peace.

Dr. Amy-Jill Levine is the Rabbi Stanley M. Kessler Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies at Hartford International University for Religion and Peace.
