Each fall, the Hall High School Concert Jazz Band chooses a foundation to support for the annual “Jazz for a Cause” benefit event at Trinity-on-Main on 69 Main St. in New Britain, CT.

This year will be the third annual “Jazz for a Cause,” and the Hall High School Concert Jazz Band is excited to announce that this year’s concert, which will be held on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., will benefit Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

The Hall Concert Jazz Band, Hall Jazz Band, and King Philip and Bristow jazz bands, are honored to raise money for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and hope their performances inspire people to realize that jazz, and art in general, is a beautiful way of demonstrating unity and creativity to benefit children.

The donations will be directed to childhood cancer research and to help families with children being treated for cancer.

So how can you help? Please attend on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m., and know that any contribution will make a difference. Cash contributions at the door will support the efforts of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

If you are unable to join us for the concert, you can contribute directly at: https://connecticutchildrensfoundation.org/ by clicking DONATE in the top right corner.

The following short video “Because of you…” show some of the impact that donations can have on the hospital’s young patients: https://vimeo.com/user24894198/review/236444879/44eb290692
