Prepare to be scared silly with the cult classic Little Shop of Horrors by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, the first show in Playhouse on Park’s 2016-17 Mainstage Series. This show offers fun for the whole family! Opening night is Friday, Sept.16, at 8 p.m., with a pre-performance wine and cheese reception from 7 -8 p.m.
In this delightfully scary musical, Seymour, a nerdy floral clerk, happens upon a mysterious exotic plant. With the plant’s help, he becomes the talk of the town. The plant promises Seymour his ticket to fame, fortune – and the girl of his dreams. But how far will Seymour go until he realizes the true intentions of the plant?
