WHAASCO Hosting Second Annual Black Business Expo at West Hartford Town Hall

WHAASCO has announced the 2025 West Hartford Black Business Expo: A Celebration of Unity, Diversity, and Empowerment, will be held at West Hartford Town Hall on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025.

The West Hartford African American Social and Cultural Organization (WHAASCO) is pleased to announce the second Annual West Hartford Black Business Expo, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the West Hartford Conference Center in Town Hall, located at 50 South Main Street, West Hartford, CT.
With the theme “Empowering Through Diversity,” the Expo aims to celebrate and elevate the achievements of Black-owned businesses in West Hartford. This annual event provides a unique platform for business owners to showcase their products and services, connect with the local community, and foster meaningful relationships.
WHAASCO extends its sincere appreciation to Hartford Yard Goats, NBT Bank, Town of West Hartford, West Hartford Rotary Club, and Westfield Bank, whose generous support has been instrumental in making this event possible. Their contributions reflect a shared commitment to community engagement and economic empowerment.
“The West Hartford Black Business Expo is a vital platform to highlight the innovation and resilience of Black entrepreneurs in our community,” said Kaleea Alston-Griffin, President of WHAASCO. “We are proud to offer an event that not only supports local businesses but also fosters a sense of unity and shared purpose.”
The Expo will feature a wide variety of businesses offering products and services for purchase, complemented by a lively and welcoming atmosphere, including music from a local DJ. Attendees are encouraged to explore, network, and support these businesses that contribute significantly to the community’s economic vitality.
